    WASHINGTON

This variety’s skin typically becomes a bright yellow colour when fully ripe. Fruit typically weighs between 1.5 kg and 2 kg. This variety’s male and female plants are distinct.

    SOLO

    Papayas of the Solo variety are intended for table use. Small and sweet-tasting, the fruits of this species feature a pulp that is a deep pink colour. Papayas of the Solo type are also reputed to grow well in kitchen gardens.

    TAIWAN-786

    The gynodioecious Taiwan-786 cultivar is grown for both processing and for consumption. The oblong fruits of this species have a sweet, delicious pulp with few seeds. This variety’s plants begin producing fruit 100 cm above the ground. The fruit has good keeping quality and often weighs between 1-3 kilogramme.

    IIHR39 AND IIHR54
