Star Anise

The fruit of a little oriental tree produces star anise. It contains five to ten pointed boat-shaped parts that are arranged in a star configuration. The brittle parts are seed pods. The star anise tree is a short, attractive, and compact tree. It has a taste that is similar to licorice. Due to their similar names and flavours, star anise and anise are occasionally mistaken for one other, although they are two separate spices. Star anise is exported from numerous nations throughout the world. It is used in a variety of recipes all around the world and also has therapeutic qualities. As a result, India is exporting more star anise.
